John Halterman is the
founder and owner of Beacon Wealth Management, a firm that prides itself
above all else on its strong, personal relationship with each client.
John has built Beacon
Wealth Management through a meticulous work ethic and a servant's
mentality. Our clients take great comfort in our team's commitment to
listening and understanding their feelings toward money and life. Only
then can we develop a customized family roadmap to deal with the
financial issues that keep them awake at night.
John has worked
extensively in the field of wealth management since 1994. He is a
Certified Wealth Strategist and a member of Ed Slott's Elite advisor
team. Through his hard work and diligence, John has been honored as a
top 5 member of the Sammons Leaders Group since 2004.
John is a native of
Weston, West Virginia, and served in the United States Air Force. He is
also a Continuing Education provider for the West Virginia Teacher's
Retirement Plan and has conducted hundreds of public educational
workshops on financial planning and wealth management. John is also the
host of WDTV's "Your Money with Beacon Wealth Management," a weekly
segment on the evening news.
John and his family
currently reside in Clarksburg, WV. He and his wife Lisa have been
married since 2005. They have two children, Lyza (age 5) and Eli (age
3), and a dog named Lulu. John enjoys racquetball and spending
quality outdoor time with his family. He is an active member of the
